We're based in Minnesota and we are deeply, chaotically into fabric.

We're obsessed with textiles here and we're not even a little embarrassed about it. Vintage finds and bold modern prints exist side by side because that's exactly how we like it. No rules. Big stash. Good time.
Dilly Dally Made is run by Morgan, her head fabric show gals (Sophie and Pippa), and a small team of sewists and makers. Morgan's based in Minnesota and is newer to sewing and even newer to owning an actual quilt shop, so we are fully, proudly card-carrying members of the newbie sewing community. We're still figuring it out. We've ripped out seams. We've googled "why does my bobbin do that" at 11pm. And we're having the time of our lives, honestly. If you're also new to this, a little overwhelmed, and really into buying more fabric than you can possibly use? Welcome. You're home.
When Morgan does find time to sew, her favorites are comfy pants with elastic waistbands (gotta leave room for Taco Bell), bags to hold all her trinkets and snacks, and foundation paper piecing.
The fabric collection isn't a problem, it's a lifestyle. Vintage deadstock, limited prints, fabric we bought because it "spoke to us," it all lives here and we love every yard of it. Morgan is a big time collector with a soft spot for retired and out of print designer lines, especially Ruby Star Society and Cotton + Steel. Every collection stocked in the shop is chosen carefully, especially as a small business. Her motto: if she wouldn't use it personally, she isn't going to carry it.
Alongside wholesaling new quilt cottons, Morgan will keep growing the fabric estate side of the business, because she's still a big believer in rescuing textiles and giving them a new home. There are six generations of fabric out there in the world right now, and a stash with a mix of new and old in it is a good stash.
